Anniversary weekend in Port Stanley with Eden, I had the idea to hit some stops on the way there and the way back. She’s addicted to Pokemon now the way I’ve been addicted to PS2 collecting.
This pawn shop named after a Stephen King book was closed on the way there. We caught it on the way back, and as our AirBNB had a stiff mattress, I had to throwback to the ole Stompin’ Tom anthem. My back still aches.
Unfortunate that I’m now on this side of collecting with only 7 games left on my list to grab, but as today’s haul shows, I’m finding some cool shit that I didn’t have written down as goals, including games I’ve never heard of, and a red Canon T3 to round out my fleet of T3s!
Onto the games:

- Aggressive Inline, I’m a sucker for THPS clones, and the guys who made Rooftops & Alleys are making a rollerblade game, so Ihave a penchant to rip this one top to bottom.
- Spongebob is a classic from childhood.
- Sopranos got gabagool. These movie tie-in crime games are always fun for me idk why.
- Tony Hawk’s Downhill Jam is supposidly not very good but I needed to complete the Tony Hawk stack (all I need is Disney Extreme Skate Adventure)
- Splinter Cell is a funny one. Eden got me all 4 Splinter Cell PS2 games for my birthday last year, except she missed Double Agent because she got the first game twice lol. Finally rectified.
- Finally, Yanya Caballista: City Skater is one I’d never heard of. Anime skateboarding was an immediate buy. Apparently there was a fingerboard that is supposed to come with it that clips to the analogs of your controller or something… That sounds like something I’d never use anyways. We’ll see about this one.
Oh, and here’s the Pokemon tax to close out.

cheers,
calv
